Characteristics: Metribuzin is inner absorption herbicide. It mainly restrains ruderal photosynthesis to make leaves dead. This product is absorbed by both the roots and the leaves of the weeds causing the weeds to die. Best results are obtained from applications made to actively growing young weeds. As Metribuzin also acts through the soil a single application gives residual control as well as a knock-down effect. Application crops: Pre-and post-emergence control of many grasses and broadleaved weeds in soya beans, potatoes, tomatoes, clover, asparagus, sugarcane, etc. It is used for control of annual grasses and numerous broadleaf weeds in field and vegetable crops, in turfgrass, and on fallow lands. Controlling spectrum: Metribuzin is a selective triazine herbicide which inhibits photosynthesis of susceptible plant species. Susceptible: Amaranthus, Barnyard Grass, Charlock, Chickweed, Fathen, Field Speedwell, Fumitory, Galinsoga, Groundsel, Henbit, Nettles, Plantains, Redroot, Scentless Chamomile, Shepherds Purse, Spurrey, Small-Flowered Buttercups, Stinking Mayweed, Storksbill, Twin Cress, White Campion, Wild Radish, Wild Turnip, Willow Weed, etc.
